What Are Stretch Toys
Aged 5+, stretch toys have been available for over 40 years! Their insides are made of food-grade corn syrup which gives them solid slow stretch feeling and the outside is made of natural latex or thermoplastic rubber.
They are super tactile and sensory with the ability to be stretched far out and twisted. But they then slowly regain their shape when their limbs are let go.
We were sent the Darth Vader (mini) and Chewbacca (giant) from the stretch Star Wars Toys range to try out.
STRETCH STAR WARS DARTH VADER (mini-Stretch): 07698
The mini-stretch Darth Vader looks fabulous. His chunky body looks menacing and strong. And they’ve even managed to include his cape.
You can twist, stretch, squeeze, and pull this mini model. And then watch him slowly pull himself back to his original size!
The cape is useful as it helps Darth Vade stand up unassisted! But because of his dark colour and rubbery skin he is prone to picking up dust!

STRETCH STAR WARS CHEWBACCA (Giant Stretch): 07692
Chewbacca comes complete with his signature ammo pack standing mighty and strong! His head is solid and hard but his body is soft and stretchy! The detail is fantastic and they’ve really captured his character in the toy.
Kids ( and adults!) can have amazing, super stretchy fun with this fully stretchable Stretch Star Wars Chewbacca!
Like all the other Star Wars stretch toys you can stretch him, pull him and tie him in knots. And then when you release him, he uses his amazing stretch to slowly return to his normal size and shape!
Chewbacca was a legendary Wookiee warrior and Han Solo’s long-time co-pilot. Known as Chewie to his closest friends, he was part of a core group of rebels who restored freedom to the galaxy during the reign of the Galactic Empire. He’s known for his short temper and accuracy with a bowcaster, but Chewie also has a big heart and unwavering loyalty to his friends.

Stretch Star Wars Jabba The Hutt (giant): 07699
The ultimate Star Wars villain Jabba the Hutt comes in super-sized Stretch form!
Jabba the Hutt was one of the galaxy’s most powerful gangsters, with far-reaching influence in both politics and the criminal underworld. There were no second chances with Jabba, something Han Solo would find out though the slug-like alien would ultimately fall victim to his own hubris and vengeful ways.
Stretch Star Wars Stormtrooper (mini): 07691
The stretch Star Wars Toy Storm Trooper is available in mini-size.
Stormtroopers are elite shock troops frantically loyal to the Empire and impossible to sway from the Imperial cause. They wear imposing white armor, which offers a wide range of survival equipment and temperature controls to allow the soldiers to survive in almost any environment. Stormtroopers wield blasters with great skill, and attack in hordes to overwhelm their enemies. Along with standard stormtroopers, the Empire has organised several specialised units, including snowtroopers and scout troopers.
Stretch Star Wars Boba Fett (mini): 07693
With his customised Mandalorian armor and deadly weaponry, Boba Fett was once regarded as one of the most fearsome and capable bounty hunters in the galaxy. An unaltered genetic clone of his father, bounty hunter Jango Fett, Boba learned combat and martial skills from a young age. Over the course ofhis career, which included contracts for the Empire and the criminal underworld, he became a legend. Although Fett seemingly met his demise in the Sarlacc pit on Tatooine after falling into the Great Pit of Carkoon, Boba survived the beast and lived to reclaim his armor, taking over the throne at Jabba’s Palace.
Stretch Star Wars C-3PO (mini): 07689
C-3PO longs for more peaceful times, but his continued service to the Resistance – and his knowledge of more than seven million forms of communication – keeps the worry-prone droid in the frontlines of galactic conflict. Programmed for etiquette and protocol, C-3PO was built by a young Anakin Skywalker, and has been a constant companion to the astromech R2-D2. Over the years, he was involved in some of the galaxy’s most defining moments and thrilling battles. Since the Empire’s defeat, C-3PO has served Leia Organa, head of a Resistance spy ring aimed at undermining the First Order.
