How Does The My Fairy Garden Fairy Light Garden Work
The great thing about the My Fairy Garden Fairy Light Garden is that kids get to make the whole thing themselves. If you watch the video below you’ll see my girls Ro & Ra make it from start to finish.
As mentioned you need to have your own compost and this is used to fill the main Fairy Garden bowl. After this you place all the other components before finally sprinkling on your grass seeds.
There is enough flexibility with the components to allow your child to add their own creative flair to the garden layout (my girls really loved adding the little colourful pebble path). The only area that may need some adult help is adding the little bunting stickers to the string.
Seed Care
Once everything has been positioned the grass seed is sprinkled and then needs to be watered and cared for. It’s a great way for children to be able to watch seeds sprout and grow and depending on where you put the playset the grass may lean towards the light which can make for a great plant science discussion. Expect lots of excitement as the grass seed starts to grow and when it gets too they can trim it easily using a pair of scissors.
NightLight And Playset
As a playset it is utterly delightful. All the figures are a great size for little hands to hold and play with. There’s lots of magical detail and the colours are soft and calming. There are doors that open and close, a secret tunnel and cute flowers that can be planted in amongst the grass, used to decorate the bridge and given to the fairies to hold.
The nightlight is magical and I love that the on off switch is a gentle blow and that it’s accompanied by twinkling harp music. The night ligh mushroom just lifts of the garden are if space is an issue and has a hook incorporated into it’s design. It gives off just enough warm light to make a child feel safe without disturbing their sleep
The My Fairy Garden Fairy Light Garden is a great value multi tasking playset. It gives children their own little indoor garden to care for. Provides a super cute playset that incorporates and magical night light. And will be a delight for any child that receives it.
